Net Calc calculates various parameters of an IPv4 network.

Just enter a valid IP address and the length of the subnet.

The following values are calculated::

  1. Net Mask

  2. Net Address

  3. Broadcast Address

  4. Minimum and Maximum Address

  5. Maximum Number of Nodes

  6. Maximum Number of possible Subnets

If one input parameter (IP address and/or subnet) is changed, all other parameters will be re-calculated.

If the input parameters follow a certain scheme, a textual description and the defining RFC are displayed.

Very helpful application for busy sysadmin. Responds quickly to netmask change. Shows IP address in hex which is useful for setting PXE boot configurations. Allows to erase entered IP address in one tap instead of doing it digit by digit as some other IP calculators do.
